Hand Count for Early Voting Ballot Board
The Early Voting Ballot Board will be hand-counting upwards of 4000 ballots of those who voted in Early Voting. This will be done on Election Day, March 3, 2026, starting at 7 AM. There will be several shifts during the day, but it may involve 5-6 hours. We need approximately 200 counters. We currently have only a handful. So we need YOU to sign up to help. If you are already planning on helping in a precinct later in the day, maybe you could help the EVBB in the morning. The EVBB will be counting at the Gillespie County Fairgrounds. Please sign up here and bring the required form with you that day. You will be contacted in advance for your timeslot.
Votes on election day are counted in the 13 election precincts. Contact your precinct chair or election judge to help them, or use the form above.
Depending on where you live, there will be approximately 42 races on your ballot. You can see the candidates listed in the order they appear on the ballot here.
